What is VECA?

Valdosta Early College Academy (VECA) is an innovative school formed as a partnership between the Valdosta City School District and Valdosta State University (VSU). It blends middle/high school and college into a seamless technology-rich education program, provides rigorous curriculum with high academic and behavioral expectations with small classes and instruction designed to meet the needs of every student. Over 250 students attend the sixth through twelfth grades at VECA which is housed in the old SL Mason Elementary School at 1605 Azalea Drive, Valdosta, Georgia. Each year a new class of 50 sixth grade students is admitted.

How long do I have to order?

All orders are completed on-line.  Orders will be accepted until midnight Sunday, December 10, 2023.

How much is shipping and handling?

We have made shipping and handling easy and simple: there is no additional cost! All prices include shipping to any address within the contiguous 48 states. For other locations, please contact us for pricing.

What if I want to hand-deliver my gifts?

You have the option of delivering your gift boxes. When you check out from the on-line store, simply click “Pick Up” under delivery options and use the Discount Code “VECA” when selecting payment options. Your order total will automatically be reduced in price by 10%. We will contact you for pick-up date/time of your items. If you order 10 or more items for pick up, we will deliver them to your home or business within the greater Lowndes-Valdosta area at no cost. We will arrange a delivery date/time with you according to your needs.

Why should I purchase from you?

First, nuts are a healthy alternative to most holiday gift foods. Second, purchasing from us supports local business and local growers and keeps tax dollars working within our community and state. Third, 100% of net proceeds from sales are used to support students of VECA. Lastly, we will include a gift card with each item you send recognizing you as the person or company purchasing the gift.
